it would be better if the students are reimbursed for food , accommodation and travelling expenses

How did you prepare for your traineeship?
Did you arrange a travel and/or malpractice insurance before your exchange?

read up on the pharmacy practice in singapore, did some research on the place beforehand

Write something about getting there , about meeting the local students and finding the working place and the place where you stayed.
took a bus from Malaysia to Singapore, met up with the local students but found my own way to the clinic since i stayed with my relatives

What was your accommodation like?
stayed with my uncle and aunt in Singapore

 - The work -
Explain in detail what you did? What was the work like?
received prescription, did checking for errors, labelled and dispensed medicines, also did stock checking and refilled stock when necessary. Observed patient counselling. it was a busy pharmacy and work was hectic but everyone was friendly and helpful.

 - What did you learn? -
What did you learn?
learnt how pharmacy is practisaed in Singapore and gained clinical knowlege besides developing communication skills

 - Other visits or activities -
What else did you do during your stay? Which places did you visit?
Was it organised by the SEP committee or did you do it on your own?
Did you have to pay for these to the SEP committee? How much? Where there some other unexpected costs?

went to dinner with SEO and local pharmacy students.Visited Boat Quay, some historical sites and shopping centres. It was organised by SEO. I had to pay for my own dinner and travel expenses. It was around $30

 - Recommendations/final conclusion -
Do you have any recommendations for other students? What is your final conclusion?
It was a truly memorable experience , one I would recommend to other students. Singaporeans are very friendly and I had a good time. They have to be prepared for the hot weather though. Conclusion is I learnt a lot of the culture and pharmacy practice in Singapore
