How did you prepare for your traineeship?
Did you arrange a travel and/or malpractice insurance before your exchange?

I arranged a travel and I bought an incurance card - ISIC (International Student Identity Card).

 - Arrival and reception -
Write something about getting there , about meeting the local students and finding the working place and the place where you stayed.
We(me and friend of mine from Poland who took part in this exchange too) travelled by plane( Warsaw-Amsterdam, Amsterdam-Chicago, Chicago-Phoenix), the flight lasted about 20hours. In Phoenix we met one of IPSF student who drove us to place where we stayed. Every day IPSF students drove us to our working place.

 - The place -
What was your accommodation like?
We lived with Morgane Fisher(IPSF student) in her house. We had our room and bathroom. The house was fully furnished and very comfortable. We felt at home there.

 - The work -
Explain in detail what you did? What was the work like?
We started out practise at 7-7.30am and we participated in rounds.At 9am we took part in morning reports. About 12pm we met our Work Site Preceptor/Supervisor Dr. Michael Katz and we talked about patients we saw during rounds. Sometimes we attended lectures of pharmacotherapy. About 3-4pm one of the IPSF student drove us home.

 - What did you learn? -
What did you learn?
I learnt a lot about clinical pharmacy and pharmacotherapy.

 - Other visits or activities -
What else did you do during your stay? Which places did you visit?
Was it organised by the SEP committee or did you do it on your own?
Did you have to pay for these to the SEP committee? How much? Where there some other unexpected costs?

IPSF students organised us a lot of trips. We visited The Grand Canyon, Sedona, Flagstaff, Bisbee, Tombstone, Phoenix.It was organised by the SEP committee.We shared the costs of petrol, hotels. There wasn't any unexpected costs.

 - Recommendations/final conclusion -
Do you have any recommendations for other students? What is your final conclusion?
This exchange in Arizona was a great experience. I learnt a lot, made new friends, visited interesting places and took back many good memories of America with me back home. I recommend everybody to apply for an exchange at the University of Arizona!
