-majority of places will be in Community pharmacy -small number of places in reseach at Faculty of pharmacy -no places in industry so far

We would like to give a chance also SEP students coming in period from ferbuary-may 2009, when most of Slovak students have school and staying in Bratislava. That is the best time to make a friends and enjoy your SEP the best way ever. Exchange in summer(july, august) also available

-Student residence hall payed by host association for first 10 placed students . We can offer basic standard rooms with own bathroom and small kitchen in Student City in Bratislava

We are sorry but we do not provide any pocket money:-( But getting round in Bratislava is comparable in price or even cheaper than the rest of Europe
Social events? Possible presence of other exchange student at the same time in the same city (students of pharmacy or other fields)? : Exchange students are placed together in same periods, and in most cases they share their rooms in student residence halls. Slovak students do prepare leisure activities of many kinds. This summer: sightseeing Bratislava, Wien, Budapest, visiting castles, mountains, museums and some nice parties. :-)
Language requirements : Good command of English is neccesary for practice in farmacy. Some of student also speak German and Spanish.

We accept students from 2nd Year of their studies. Just graduated students are welcome as well.
Information on Work Permits and Visa : European Union citizens do not need visa nor work permit to take part in SEP in Slovakia, residents of other countries should check at local (or nearest) Slovak embassy if they do need visa and what are the requirements in sufficient advance

Deadline to apply for SEP in Slovakia 2008/09 will be 1st of May 2009 for summer period, or two months prior the exchange. We are open to bilaterals. Choice of students is done by hosts associations/Community pharmacies
