Community pharmacy and research at the University, no places in industry or hospital pharmacy.

The months available depend on the employers; most of the exchanges take place between May and September. Full months are required!

Accommodation will be in a student flat, which will cost 200-270€ and the student will pay it his/herself. A deposit, which the student will get back after the exchange if the apartment is undamaged, is required. Be prepared to pay more in September-

The student will receive a salary from the employer, which is about 840€ or 670€+free accommodation. Note that foreign students have to pay taxes in Finland!

During summer there normally are many students doing the exchange at the same time, but note that other times of the year you might be the only

The further you are in your studies, the better chances you have to get a place in Finland.
Information on Work Permits and Visa : Students coming outside EU need a working permit, which will cost 200€ and have to be arranged in advance. You might also need a visa if you come outside EU.

The deadline of applying is 3 months before the exchange, the sooner the better! This year I’ve done only one bilateral exchange, but we’re open to suggestions. The employer decides which student they want to take to do the exchange.
